Today I was invited to talk to a grade 11 sports class at Port Macquarie high school. It was really great to talk with a really awesome bunch of kids that where genuinely interested in the life of an Ironman. I really enjoy going to the schools and talking with the students about what I do, how its done and hopefully inspire them to give triathlon a go.
With only three days till the big day things are getting busy in town. Today saw the weather change quiet dramatically from nice and sunny with minimal wind to rainy, overcast and windy. The morning temperatures have dropped over the last week also which will make to a chilly start on Sunday morning.
