END OF SEASON HOLIDAY IN COSTA RICA

Amanda and I just returned to the US after a great 10 days in Costa Rica. It was great to get away and just relax, sleep in, surf, eat and have some fun with out having to worry about training or u coming races.

Our first stop was Tamarindo which is a cool little village on the Pacific Ocean in the North West of Costa Rica. We stayed in a great villa on Playa Langosta and basically spent 7 days hanging at the beach surfing, swimming and chilling out!

Amanda went for her morning run along Tamarindo & Playa Grande every morning
We stayed in a beautiful villa right near Playa Langosta
The beach was right across the street and I spent plenty of hours each day in it surfing with my mate Terenzo
A small but fun day at Tamarindo. The waves here are perfect and off shore every day ... a surfers dream!
Amanda returns from here daily run along the beach
Low tide at Tamarindo
Dinner with our Kiwi mates Terenzo and Kelly
Amanda contemplates lunch at a taco stand we came across in a small town as we drove to La Fortuna
Love the coffee in Costa Rica!
Funny creatures
Ziplining in the forest canopy in La Fortuna
Clearly it was fun!
Such a good view. The longest cable was 980m long and was 150m above the river and waterfall below ... HIGH!
Amanda ready for take off
Terenzo comes down the longest and highest cable no hands!

We really enjoyed our few days in La Fortuna. The Canopy tour on the ziplines were sooo much fun and I highly recommend it to anyone going to Costa Rica. Terenzo and I also went White Water rafting on the last day and had a blast.

We are now back on US soil for 5 days for Thanksgiving with our friends in Vegas and then it's finally home to Oz!
