SAD DAY FOR OUR SPORT

I woke up today to the sad news that fellow triathlete Steve Larsen passed away while running a track session in Bend, OR. Not only was he an amazing athlete that competed at the World Championships in six different sports (cycling, mountain bike, track, cycle cross, triathlete and off road triathlon) but he was a really nice, friendly, approachable family guy. 

I rode with Steve in Bend a few times and I really appreciated his advice he gave me about my cycling and Ironman training. I will always treasure those words. 

Steve will be greatly missed!
