Amanda nears the summitToday we climbed the Col de la Madeleine. With a few km's warm up it was into the 27km solid climb at an average of 7.5% gradient. It was sooo cold up near the summit (2000m) it was close to 0°C and sleeting!!! The descente was slow in the rain and fog not to mention we were close to hypothermia! Gotta love it!
